Genetics
I have prepared animated PowerPoint presentations about many genetic (mainly medical) topics, organized by general topics. These were prepared for lay non-clinical presentations, and do not yet comprise a comprehensive teaching course. Most were originally for a chaplaincy group, and so include an introductory prayer (the topics and covered material are not cross-indexed). I would like to share these with others, as I have benefitted from contents of other presentations (with websites acknowledged below the relevant slides). The topics will be gradually expanded.

Please let me know if you detect any errors, or if you have any questions, suggestions, or requests for specific topics (e.g Bayesian probability, or mutation rates).

These slides were prepared for nonprofit educational purposes, and I have given credit to the various sources from which the materials were obtained.  However, I was unable to identify the sources of some materials.  If you own the copyright rights to any of these materials, please provide me with sufficient information so that I can provide you with proper credit.

If these presentations prove at all useful to you, I ask only that you donate to the Hsia Foundation which continues to contribute to support various medical, educational, and Christian charities world-wide.

Ted Hsia, Emeritus Professor of Cell & Molecular Biology, and of Pediatrics, University of Hawaii School of Medicine.
